Love is...

It is so hard to not be overcome with emotions when I look at Noah. Even in his grumpiest moments he makes the cutest noises and I just melt. It becomes so apparent just how fragile we are when you hear the news from around the world. It is scary how something so happy and good can change and become someone's worst nightmare in the blink of an eye. Love is many things but when you look at the people you love and cannot possibly imagine a world without them, you know you are truly blessed. This is what looking into Noah's eyes does to me.

We have spent 3 whole days together this weekend just being 'us'... it was amazing! Even with having to do the washing and the cleaning and the cooking we seem to have so much fun. Yesterday we had a dance party in our lounge room and then we did some acting starring Mr Lion, Miss Elephant, Froggy McFrog and Noah as a mountain. He is such a good mountain when he's laying on his mat and Daddy does such a good elephant noise... so good it scares Noah sometimes :)
It's the simple things that make us smile... like the photos below of Noah sucking his thumb. We finally caught him in the act! SOOOOO cute.
