You have no idea how proud we are of our first little baby (Raph). We expected that there would be an adjustment period but we thought it would be a lot more rocky than it has been. He absolutely adores Noah. He sits near him any chance he gets. He sniffs him every morning to say hello. He routinely comes inside during the day, walks straight past me and finds where Noah is to make sure he’s still ok. He comes to me if I haven’t been able to go straight to Noah when he is crying and waits by my side until I go to Noah. He even sits near Noah to protect him when we are vacuuming. This is a dog that use to RUN outside when the vacuum started. You can tell he is absolutely uncomfortable the whole time while we are vacuuming but he won’t leave until the vacuum is right next to him now. He loves Noah so much that the other day when I returned from shopping I had left Noah in his car seat while I unpacked the groceries because he was asleep. Raph ran into me and out to Noah 3 times. It was like he was trying to tell me that I’d forgotten to bring him in. Eventually he sat at the back of the car and started whinging to get my attention. By the time I came out to get Noah, he had jumped into the back of the car and was sitting next to him to make sure that he was ok.
It is just another highlight of my day to see how well Raph has accepted him into our lives. They are going to be partners in crime pretty soon. Blind leading the blind...
aww go raph raph!
