Whoopsy Daisies...

Yesterday and today have involved spending lots and lots of time with Noah because earlier in the week I was very busy organising the house and car loans after our trip away. He has been quite clingy so I promised him that we wouldn't be apart for the rest of the week. This has meant that he's spent a lot of time in the baby carrier and joining me in lots of activities. We started doing Mum and Bub yoga yesterday. This was great fun. The whole time I was thinking that he is surely putting on weight quickly because he was great resistance for all of the weight activities. So... we walked to the clinic for a weighing session. The nurse at the clinic absolutely loves him so she rushed him out of the pram for a cuddle and was quite happy to get him naked to weigh him without my help. She got a little carried away with the cuddling while he was naked though and Noah relaxed just enough to ... Let's just say, she felt a little warm for a while :) We had a good laugh about this one and she explained to Noah that this would not impress the ladies when he is older.

Noah is getting alert enough now that he wants to have something to look at when he is in the pram so I managed to attach a few toys for him. He is also strong enough to support his head when you hold him vertically now so we can do '1,2,3 BLAST OFF' with him and he loves it. At first when he gets to the top he looks a little surprised and then he makes eye contact with you and gets a big grin on his face. It's very very cute.

He is also big enough to have showers with us now. He loves the suction toys we have on the shower wall so we make sure to say hello to all of them every time we have a shower. He doesn't seem to mind the water splashing in his face either. It's so lovely to have skin to skin contact with him, it's a really nice bonding time. (There won't be any photos of this as I think the computer screen may crack... and not because of Noah)

He has also nailed how to suck his thumb... he hasn't decided which hand he likes best yet but I think lefty is leading the popularity race as 9 times out of 10 it's his left that's in there but if lefty is busy, righty makes a good substitute.
