Busy busy busy

We have had a rather busy couple of days. On Friday we visited the school for morning tea and stuck around to watch the big kids doing some drama activities and acting as clowns. Then when we returned home I could hear Raphie barking like mad and I was sure he had found a snake so my heart sunk. I quickly put Noah down and ran outside praying that he hadn't been bitten. When I found him there was a turtle that he had cornered, the poor thing was all curled up in it's shell. I got Raph inside and eventually the turtle recovered enough to make the long, slow journey to the other side of the garden. That night we went to the Tavern for a lovely family dinner. Beautiful view! Noah slept so well, from about 8:30pm to 4:45am... Definitely a one-off but greatly appreciated. Pity we didn't go to bed when he did because we would have had a lovely long sleep but instead we stayed up, oh well.

On Saturday we went to the local town to get some more meat, when we got back for the big drive we were starving. Noah cuddled into Andy and fell asleep while we were eating lunch. We also had some people over for a BBQ over our fire pit. They have 3 small children that were running around like mad and they have made us realise just exactly how many things will have to be relocated around our house before Noah is on the move. Thank goodness you get a good 6-8mths to prepare for this.

Today we had a lazy morning reading stories etc. and then we went around to the principal's house for a BBQ (yes, another BBQ). Noah was so well behaved that everyone there kept saying to us that he was an angel child - we already thought this but it's nice to see how much Noah can make others smile as well. We played some darts, had some laughs in his bouncer and snuggled in for cuddles and sleep towards the end of the day - what a lovely way to share the weekend together.
I am a very lucky mummy and wife to be blessed with such lovely people to share my time with. I love my little family!
