We have visitors!

We are very excited to have Andy's parents and little sister visiting this week. It is so lovely to see Noah spending time with his family, there's nothing more important than family! So far we have had fun at a dinner party with some other people in town, gone to the local markets and had donuts, had a camp fire dinner in our backyard, roasted marshmallows, visited a near by town and had a picnic and watched a couple of movies. Noah has been cuddled and cared for very well and he is all smiles. He is starting to initiate rolling over so I'm sure it won't be long before I turn around and he's not exactly where I left him... He has also officially got a favourite toy - his musical froggy. He loves all toys that have big eyes on them and he has learnt how to reach up to froggy and pull him so that he starts singing. And he LOVES stuffing froggy into his mouth.

Daddy's Birthday

We had such a lovely time yesterday getting ready to surprise Daddy. We were so tired by the end of the day though.

SURPRISE!

Singing is great!

Time flies

It seems every second post I start out by saying how busy I have been... so why ruin tradition. We have been really busy. This seems like such an unlikely thing when you live in such a small town but perhaps not so unlikely because we have a new baby. Last week Noah spent some time fixing the remote control car with Daddy. We also had a good time at the school fete, Noah got a helium balloon, a bubble gun and a pin wheel toy. He loves staring at all of these. He has really come alive in the past few weeks. He loves his tongue, he holds his hands together and he reaches out to grab and hold onto things. We were recently given a toy that is attached to a sock so when he moves his feet it rattles, he is beginning to realise he has feet too! The other day he held onto his rattle and made a lovely song for me.

He has also started to really drop his bottom lip when he is frustrated. It is so cute!
We are doing more and more tummy time lately, he doesn't seem to like it very much but I think he is just so annoyed that his body isn't getting him places yet. You can see such determination come over his eyes as if he knows exactly where he wants to be moving to but he just can't quite get there yet. I have a feeling I'm going to be a very fit lady chasing around after him... even in our 2 bedroom place.

He grabs my hair and my necklaces now. He is also so determined during feeds sometimes that he clenches his fists so tight he gets white knuckles - like I said, determination.
