An Eventful Week

Noah and I have been quite busy this week, here are some of the fun things we've done together.
Firstly, Mummy found a (sort of) safe way for me to play with one of my favourite things... plastic bags. This plastic bag has been with me everywhere I go ever since.

Secondly, I tried my first bit of sushi. This might take some getting use to but I enjoyed sharing it with Raph.

Then, Daddy brushed my teeth for the first time. I think the pictures explain how I felt about this.

Then, Mummy got my clam shell all ready for me to go for a little dip. It was nice because it's so so so hot up here.

Lastly, I went to my friend's 2nd birthday party. It was a pool party so I got to have another swim - 2 in one week!

I was all pooped out by the end of the party I had to have a sleep in Dad's arms. I also ate way too much fruit and spewed all over mum just before we were meant to leave.

Happy Birthday Mummy

Noah is just as adorable as always. His only new development is that he's moving from items of furniture while he's standing now. He was also absolutely gorgeous on the morning of my birthday. He ate all the envelops of my cards.

He makes this cute little wrinkle face when he's scheming

Terrorising The House

My most frequently used sentence this week would have to be "Noah you are a terror". Noah is more and more active and easily bored. He can get from the lounge room to the dog food in 3 seconds and he loves playing in the dog water after he's tipped it all over the floor. He has also taken to biting me at the beginning of a feed if I don't give him attention. He likes eating shoes and shoe laces. He pulls himself up onto EVERYTHING. He likes sticking his fingers down the bathroom drain. He likes the garbage bin and the vacuum cleaner. He grabs the bottom of my skirts and tugs on them when he wants something which gives new meaning to the saying 'hanging off my apron strings'. And... he throws tantrums. Fair dinkum tantrums when things are taken away from him or a toy isn't 'working' or when he has been put down.
Hahahaha - just now, as I am writing this, I've learnt that the magnet are no longer safe on the fridge.

His crawl is quite funny to watch, he uses his left knee like a traditional crawl but puts his right foot down and pushes with it. I feel as if this is his way of coming as close as possible to walking because that's exactly what he would love to be able to do!

Having said all of this, he is an absolute champion to be with. He's happy and contented and he never fails to make me smile several times a day. I am amazed by how quickly he is developing. Only today Andrew said how he looks like a little boy and I am fully aware of the fact that our little baby is not long off being called a toddler.

On The Go

Noah had his first trip in a boat this weekend. He enjoyed swimming in the lake and testing out his life jacket too.

He never stops... he goes from one thing to the next and then to another. Until he crashes for a sleep. But as soon as he's awake again, he's go go go until the next sleep.

And he's teething, teething, teething!!! These are some bath toys we bought him, he loves to munch on them. I think they must be the perfect squishy-ness for teething gums. This is him munching on the frog while listening to his bed time story.
