Apologies (again) for the delay in blogs, the internet should be fixed properly this time around... what a drama. However, we have lots of fun things to share with you!
Noah has made many changes, they’re happening so quickly I feel like I’m one step behind every morning. He rolls around the lounge room to get around now rather than just pancake-ing back and forth from front to back. He LOVES his feet, so much so that I’m convinced he doesn’t need any other toys on the floor. He has discovered his tongue on a whole new level now and loves to chew it and twist it around his mouth. I have no doubt that this is probably associated with him feeling teeth coming down/up too. He is very aware and gets bored when he’s left in the one place for too long but unfortunately has figured out that screaming is the best way to get moved :( We are working on making the backyard more inviting (more plants etc.) and getting some shade up so that we have a little extra space to venture into each day. Most days he’s in a lovely routine and has naps but never for more than 30mins however he seems to be sleeping quite well in the night. We have moved his bassinet into the lounge room at night– next step, sleeping in his room at night. He sleeps in his ‘big boy’ cot during the day and has gotten use to waking up surrounded by winnie and his friends. So once he’s (or maybe once Mummy) is use to sleeping in his room he’ll sleep in his cot at night also. He won’t let me rock him to sleep no matter how tired he is, he will only go to sleep for me while feeding, even if he’s only fed recently. This poses my biggest mummy challenge at present. At least I know others can rock him to sleep just fine though so he’s not completely spoilt. He is going to be on the move very quickly so we have some serious ‘grown up’ (crawling and standing) toys to buy! And he’s nearly in 0 size clothes so we’re going to have to start stocking up on size 1 as we thought we wouldn’t need these until next year so we haven’t got much of these.
