A new routine

Noah has been soooooo unsettled the past couple of days that I've decided that we need a more predictable routine for him while he readjusts to the fact that someone can't hold onto him and entertain him every single second. I write this while he has his 'jolly jumper' time. We have a walk to the park to read some books, some pilates time, free nappy time and singing/dancing. Today's walk to the park put Noah to sleep before we even arrived so the books went unread today. Hopefully the walk doesn't always put him to sleep. As part of this new routine he also has nap times so that he learns to sooth himself to sleep. Last night was not so bad and we used a dummy which helps.

It’s possible I may have unleashed a beast by putting Noah in the jolly jumper so soon – he absolutely loves it but I think he’s had a little taste of independence and now tummy time just isn’t the same. He seems sooooooooo frustrated that he can’t move around by himself yet. Poor little thing, he’ll have Mummy running soon enough.

But he had other ideas...

The books will stay in the bag for tomorrow
